Welcome Members

Welcome members, hope your all flying more than me these days. Since my Vigor had an unfortunate incident with the ground I've been out of the air for a while. However that should all change within the next month or so as my next helicopter (drum roll) nears completion.

What you'll find at the Perth Helicopter Club Site

Here is a quick rundown of what you can find at the Perth helicopter club site.

Available on the public sections of the site:
News and Events section: any current or new information will be posted to the news section, this will be your first stop to find out if there are any changes to the site or activities relating to the club.

Club photo galleries: browse the photos uploaded from funflys, club outings and photos from the field.

Weather: check the latest forecast and rain radar (yes you can still fly between showers).

Links: no doubt one of the best RC helicopter links collection on the net, these are regularly checked for broken links.

Download RealFlight G2 paint schemes.

Contact any current club member via email.

Check out the site map for a listing of all pages on perthrcheliclub.com.au, page sections/heading appear under each page link so the site map is a good place to look to get a very quick rundown of the sites content.

Available for members once logged in:
Committee minutes: If you login to the site you can download minutes of committee, general and annual general meetings. Currently this goes back till 29 June 2002.

Club Documents: A collection of documents relevant to members, including the "Constitution of the Perth Radio Controlled Helicopter Club".

Update your details: Update your email, login details and Frequency information.

Administration section: For user with admin rights (ask Keith if your interested in this), you can update page content, add news articles, add photo galleries (with photos), add club helicopters articles (with photos), add links and automatically check for broken links, send group emails to members and view page hits.

Flying times

We can fly at the field on Tuesday and Thursday between 2pm and 8pm and on Saturday and Sunday between 9am and 7pm. The most popular time is on Sunday morning from about 9am to 1 or 2pm. As usual the safety rules a laid out in the clubs safety document must be observed.

Members frequencies

I have compiled a list of members frequencies from the information you provided in your membership application forums. Hopefully this will help out with any frequency clashes. Have a look at the list on the members Listing page. You can login to update your details.

Safety

Please check out the safety page.
